Feroz Shah Kotla
Feroz Shah Kotla: In 1360, Emperor Feroz Shah Tughlaq built the citadel “Feroz Shah Kotla” for his new capital city called Firozabad on the banks of River Yamuna. Much later, in 1883, a cricket stadium by the same name was built near the site remains. The stadium has hosted numerous international Cricket matches and is one of the venues for the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
